Faqs

Q1: Can the server run other species or annotation?

A: We currently collect transcription factor and enhancer regulatory network data for common species, and we will continue to add new species. Please email me (szxszx@foxmail.com) if the data you are analyzing is not within our range. I will add it.

Q2: How to understand the output file of the server?

A: Content on the server does not fully describe the output. You can refer to the detailed documentation. I will also be very happy to answer you directly by email.

Q3: Can nASAP server run Pro-Cap data?

A: Although our server is dedicated to the analysis of nascent RNA data, it can be calculated as long as the input meets the criteria. Howerver many biological calculations are pointless. For example, when doing quality assessment, it is necessary to calculate the ratio of Exon/Intron density, but such calculations are not suitable for most sequencing data of mature RNAs and data targeting transcription initiation regions such as PRO-cap.

Q4: Why nASAP server pausing anaysis is not suitable for TT-seq data?

A: TT-seq data which lacks information on promoter RNA polymerase II (RNAPII) levels is not suitable for PI/EI calculation.

Q5: I am unable to access it from xx country?

A: Our server is located in China and sometimes access may be blocked by the firewall. Please wait a moment and try again later. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Meanwhile, you can watch the testing video below to understand how nASAP works.
